Rent Pressure Zones - Implications for Landlords and Tenants

The Planning and Development (Housing) and Residential Tenancies Act 2016 is now in force, and has significant implications for Landlords and Tenants in designated areas.

The new restrictions on rent increases have already been extended to areas outside the intial areas in Dublin and Cork, and may well be extended further in the future.

The rules surrounding "Part 4" tenancies have also been amended to afford tenants increased security of tenure.
