Estates, Wills and Tax Planning
Maeve studied law in UCD and qualified as a solicitor in 1988 and as an Associate of the Institute of Taxation in 1996. Maeve has also completed the Law Society Diploma in Property related Taxes and the STEP Diploma in Wills, Trusts and Estate planning.
Maeve trained in Dublin and worked in Sydney, Australia. On returning to Ireland she worked for many years in Arthur E MacMahon, one of the older firms in Naas, County Kildare before joining Joynt & Crawford. She has over thirty years’ experience advising clients about Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Tax Planning and Probate.
Maeve’s extensive property experience includes Agricultural, Commercial and Residential Property Sales, Purchases, Financing and Leases, and passing on the Family Farm or Family Business.
Residential and commercial conveyancing
Sarah qualified as a Solicitor in 2003 and joined Joynt & Crawford in 2018. Sarah is a Solicitor in the firm’s Private Client Department and her main practice area covers all aspects of property law including residential and commercial conveyancing, leases, letting agreements and mortgages.
In addition, Sarah has extensive experience in administration of estates and enduring powers of attorney.
Deirdre is a Solicitor in the firm’s Conveyancing Department, having originally joined Joynt & Crawford in 1993.
Deirdre’s main practice area covers all aspects of property law including residential and commercial conveyancing, leases, letting agreements and mortgages.
In addition, Deirdre has extensive experience in civil litigation working for both national and international clients, including banks and other financial institutions, companies and private individuals. Deirdre’s experience in this area covers all jurisdictions from the District Court up to and including the High Court.
Eleanor studied Law and English at the National University of Ireland, Galway and graduated with a BA in 2005 and an LLB in 2006. She went on to complete a Masters of Law in University College Cork (LLM), graduating in 2010. Eleanor qualified in April 2015 and now practices in the property department where she advises on all aspects of both residential and commercial conveyancing.
Grace qualified as a Solicitor in 2015 and joined Joynt & Crawford in 2016. Grace currently practices in the areas of residential and commercial conveyancing and Landlord and Tenant, but has experience in a range of areas including probate and personal injury.
Keith obtained an Honours degree in Irish Law in 2011 and worked for a prominent litigation firm in Cork City before joining Joynt and Crawford to complete his traineeship in 2015.
Keith was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2016 and practices primarily in the area of debt recovery. He also has experience in personal injuries litigation, civil litigation and conveyancing.
Aoibhinn studied Law at University College Cork, graduating with a BCL in 2014. She qualified as a solicitor in 2018 and mainly practises in the areas of residential and commercial conveyancing, but also has experience in litigation and probate matters.
Robert studied at the National University of Ireland, Galway graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree (2011) and Bachelor of Laws degree (2012). He joined Joynt & Crawford as a trainee and qualified in 2019.
